Guidance Notes:-

Applications should be submitted by 1st February and 1st September each year for consideration by the Trustees who meet biannually in Spring and Autumn.

Preference is given to Scottish charities, particularly for smaller charities, based in the West of Scotland.

Funding for salaries will not be awarded, except in exceptional circumstances.

Typically, grants of £ 500 - 1000 per successful application are given, unless in exceptional circumstances.

The principal objectives of the Trust are the provision of rehabilitation and recreation for children and young people under the age of 18, with physical or mental health concerns, or educational needs in areas of deprivation.

Please send your application, which should be on our formalong with supporting attachments to secretary@mugdockchildrenstrust.org. (This address can also be used for any questions or to request that an application form is emailed to you.)

Please ensure that you include your charity's name, a contact email, postal address and phone number.

Your appliction will be acknowledged and the Trustees' decision on the application will be sent to you after the Spring or Autumn Trustees' meeting.

Where your application is successful, please submit a report on the project within 12 months of the grant award.

In order to save charities time and cost (as well as reducing paper use), our preferred way to receive correspondence, reports, receipts and newsletters is via email. This also makes it easier for me to transmit these to our Trustees before our meetings.
